Tattoos and Body Piercing

1. All payments in respect of any tattoos or body piercings are to be in cash or by means of an EFT bank  transfer.   Payment by means of an EFT transfer will only be considered as received by Custom Ink once the quoted amount is reflecting in Custom Ink’s bank account.  NO Cheques are accepted.
2. Custom Ink prefers to work on an appointment basis (but will accept walk-ins if time permits). When a booking is made the customer will be required to pay a non-refundable booking fee of R 200-00.
3. Any quote for a tattoo or piercing given telephonically is not to be considered as the final amount and Custom Ink reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount quoted depending on the final drawing presented to it.
4. Any person being tattooed or pierced acknowledges that he/she is over the age of 18 (EIGHTEEN) and that he/she is getting the tattoo or piercing voluntarily. Any person being tattooed or pierced shall be considered to be of sound mind and not under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs or any other substance whether legal or illegal. Any person under the age of 18 (EIGHTEEN) shall require parental consent for a tattoo and any person under the age of 16 (SIXTEEN) shall require parental consent for a piercing.
5. Any person being tattooed acknowledges the risks associated with tattoo pigments (Inks) which risks can manifest themselves immediately, midterm or even years later; and absolves Custom Ink, its employees agents, servants and tattoo artists from any claims that could arise in law.
6. Any person being tattooed further adsolves Custom Ink, its employee, agents, servants, tattoo artists and body piercers from any liability, claims, action, demands for any compensation in law and equity, whatsover (including any claims of negligence) that the person or his/her heirs may have now or in the future that may arise as a result of the procedure or procedures performed on their bodies, whether it be a tattoo or body piercing or any other procedure performed by Custom Ink.

Tattoo and Body Piercing Supplies

1. All payments in respect of supplies are to be made in cash or by means of an EFT bank transfer. Proof of the deposit and/or payment is to be faxed or e-mailed to Custom Ink. NO CHEQUES ARE ACCEPTED. No order will be processed or shipped/couriered until the required payment is reflecting in Custom Ink’s bank account. No order will be shipped/couriered until the full amount of the order is paid and reflecting in Custom Ink Tattoos Bank account. 
2. Any order that is shipped or couriered without payment of the full amount is at the sole discretion of Custom Ink and Custom Ink reserves the right to withhold the full order or a portion thereof until payment is made in full. This will apply even if Custom Ink has undertaken to deliver the order without payment been made in full, amd Custom Ink reserves its rights to withdraw any undertaking to deliver prior ro payment been made in full.
3. The customer further absolves Custom Ink from any claim or cliams that may arise due to loss of income etc that may result form the delayed delivery of an order that is not paid for in full. 
4. Custom Ink does not accept any liability for any damages that may be suffered as a result of an order being lost and/or damaged during shipping or couriering. Should a customer require additional insurance on a parcel it is the customers responsiblity to request same from Custom Ink prior to the order being shipped, which insurance costs will be for the customers account.
5. Custom Ink undertakes to deliver with 2-3 days from date of payment, which undertaking is dependant on stock availability. Should any item ordered not be in stock Custom Ink will endevour to obtain the stock within a reasonable time (which period will be determined by the availability of the stock with Custom Ink’s international suppliers). The customer specifically absolves Custom Ink from any claims of whatsoever nature that may arise from the non availability of stock.

Tattoo and Body Piercing Courses

1. Basic tattoo courses are charged at R 15 000-00 (Fifteen Thousand Rand). The course fee is payable in advance. Payment of the fee or any other agreed amount constitutes a binding agreement between the customer and Custom Ink. Should the customer cancel the agreement for any reason whatsoever, the customer will not be entitled to a refund of any of the course fees. Cancellation of the agreement is to be in writing and is to be directed to Custom Ink Tattoos and Body Piercing.  Should the agreement be cancelled in writing by Custom Ink, the customer will be entitled to a pro rata refund.
2. The tattoo course is conducted over a period of 2 weeks and is aimed at teaching the student the basics of the art of tattooing. The student will be taught how to set up his/her machine etc. How to prepare a customer for a tattoo and the application of a stencil. How to correctly do a neat outline for a tattoo focusing on the correct needles to use and the correct depth etc. The student will also be taught how to shade and colour a tattoo again focusing on correct needles technique and depth etc.
3. On completion of the course the student will have learnt the basics needed to be able begin tattooing paying customers -  The only way to inprove your skills is practice, practice and more practice.
4. Basic piercing courses are charged at R 4000-00 (Four Thousand Rand). Payment of the course fee is in advance. Payment of this fee or any other amount agreed to constitutes a binding agreement between th
5. e customer and Custom Ink. Should the customer cancel the agreement for any reason whatsoever, the customer will not be entitled to a refund of any of the course fees. Cancellation of the agreement by the customer is to be in writing and is to be directed to Custom Ink Tattoos and Body Piercing. Should the agreement be cancelled in writing by Custom Ink , the customer will be entitled to a pro rata refund. 
6. The piercing course is conducted over a period of 5 days and teaches the student the basics of piercing.
7. On completion of the course the student will be able to do all the popular piercings confidently – Eyebrows, nose, lips, tongue, nipple, belly buttom etc.
